The Journal of Operational Medicine Joins CTM-E as Official Affiliate Organisation

The Counter-Terrorism Medicine European Initiative (CTM-E) is proud to announce that the Journal of Operational Medicine (JOM) has officially joined our network as an affiliate organisation.

Operational medicine and counter-terrorism medicine share a common imperative: delivering rapid, decisive, and evidence-based clinical care in high-threat, resource-constrained, and mass-casualty environments. As the operational landscape evolves, bridging front-line clinical experience with rigorous, peer-reviewed scholarship is critical to improving patient outcomes and practitioner safety.

Through this affiliation, CTM-E and JOM will collaborate closely to advance research, disseminate operational lessons learned, and expand access to educational resources across both civil and tactical domains. The partnership will support shared initiatives, including cross-disciplinary working groups, academic exchanges, and priority dissemination of key operational medicine findings to CTM-E members and partner agencies.

CTM-E warmly welcomes the editorial board, contributors, and readership of the Journal of Operational Medicine. Look for joint publications, member research highlights, and announcements of collaborative events in the coming months.
