Students Working Group
Division Overview
1
The CTM-E Students Working Group is a student-led, expert-backed hub that empowers the next generation of crisis leaders. Recognising that financial or logistical limitations shouldn't gatekeep groundbreaking ideas, our division incubates high-impact student research. We connect ambitious undergraduate, graduate, and medical students across Europe with the funding, mentorship, and global networks they need to advance CTM and disaster medicine.
Mission
2
To democratise access to world-class training and advanced academic research in emergency medicine, disaster medicine, and CTM by dismantling financial, geographic, and logistical barriers for students across Europe.
Pioneering insights into trauma care, tactical medicine, and crisis policy shouldn't depend on a student's personal budget or institutional funding limits. Our mission is to level the playing field, ensuring students have the support to contribute directly to global security and resilience.
Pillars and strategic goals
3
Our initiatives are built around four core pillars, designed to transition student researchers from academic theory to operational impact:
1. Financial and logistical barrier removal
2. Advanced research
3. Mentorship and network integration
Division structure and governance

To maintain accountability and drive these goals forward, the division operates under a lean, student-led executive board overseen by the CTM-E Board
