The Academy of Operational Medicine
The Academy of Operational Medicine advances the science, practice, and leadership of operational medicine through dynamic education, applied research, and sustained global collaboration. The Academy of Operational Medicine's fellowship program recognises individuals who have demonstrated advanced practice in operational medicine through experience, education, scholarly activity, and leadership. Those selected for admission into the Academy and elected a Fellow may use the designation Fellow of the Academy of Operational Medicine and affix the professional credential FAOM to their name. The Journal of Operational Medicine
The Journal of Operational Medicine (JOM) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal for interdisciplinary research in all aspects of operational medicine. JOM is intended for researchers, practitioners, and students who provide medicine within unconventional, hostile, or austere environments where access to critical resources is severely limited. There are no fees to publish open-access articles in JOM. Membership in the Academy of Operational Medicine is not a requisite for publication, nor does it influence editorial decisions.
